Grandma Eggett came to visit and we had so much fun! She waited and waited to buy her plane ticket so that if Isaac came early, she could jump on the soonest flight. And wouldn't you know it, she booked her flight and 2 days later Isaac was born! Grandma came on Isaac's 3rd day of life. She was a wonderful help with Conner, cooking, cleaning and driving us around! Conner did really well with the transition from only child to oldest child, and I think that was in large part due to Grandma being there so he still received plenty of attention! They would go for walks, play outside, run, etc. And Grandma even bought him some new toys! We were lucky enough to have her here for a week and a half. I am always horrible at taking pictures when people come to visit us, so unfortunately this is the only time I took pictures: Conner's first picnic in the back yard!
As if we weren't blessed enough to have Grandma Eggett come, the day she left Grandpa and Grandma Dietz came! Grandpa got to stay for about 5 days, and Grandma stayed for a week and a half! Grandma Dietz also was a huge help with the kids and the house stuff! We are so lucky to have 2 sets of grandparents who love our children so much and are such wonderful granparents to our kids!
When the time came for each granparent to leave, it was sad to let them go! We love having them around!
Mom looks so happy to be hanging out with Conner! All of our kids are so lucky to have her as grandma.
