Caleb has been practicing a new skill...

May 15, 2018
Caleb turned 1 today!
Love that he's showing off his teeth!

What a silly face!

Sweet Caleb, no longer a baby!

We couldn't let his birthday pass without doing SOMETHING to celebrate! Yummy pastries!

Playing in the backyard with Grandma!

On a different note...potty training round 1 is in effect.

Caleb got to make his 1 year old painting today! Each of our boys have made one when they turn one. It's just something fun we decided to do!

Today we had Caleb's birthday party. It was so much fun! We had a light dinner and then the cake smash with cupcakes for everyone else.

I love doing themed parties! This one was airplane themed.

There were in-flight nuts (Nutter Butters), control tower sandwiches (PBJ's in airplane shape and meat and cheese roll sandwiches)...

, airplanes (pigs in a blanket with airplane wings) , flotation devices (mini doughnuts), air traffic control batons (veggie sticks), sky (jello with whipped cream) and jet fuel (soda)

Ammon shaped the smash cake and I frosted it! I love how it turned out!

Let the smashing begin!

Then I made these really cute cupcakes for everyone else. Again, I LOVED how they turned out (and they were so simple)!!

Later as the party died down and it was getting closer to bedtime, Caleb took his first independent steps!

This summer we signed up for free summer bowling for kids. It's a nationwide program that local bowling alleys can choose to be a part of. Here are some pictures from our first two times going. There will definitely be many more this summer!
I watch Aria during the day, so she gets to join us on our fun adventures!

 Somebody is pretty excited!

 STRIKE!!!

Sometimes Isaac likes to push ball from underneath the ramp!

New Fence
For the past two months (April and May) we have been working hard on taking down our old fence and building a new one. It has been a lot of hard work, but it looks SO GOOD now! We worked in sections; we completed one side, then moved on to the other side. When the second side was completed, we did the back.

SIDE ONE

It's not child labor, its teaching hard work ethics!

Isaac showing me the bug he found! He loved this little bug!

 Finished side one!

SIDE TWO

Conner loved that he had a kid sized hoe just like the men! He was right there working with them!
