Today Isaac asked if he could hold and feed Emma. So with a lot of supervision, he got a turn, and he loved it!

Happy Birthday, Caleb! This cute boy turned 2 today! It's a weekday so we celebrated just our little family. This weekend we'll have the extended family over for cake and ice cream!
His big brothers both have a Rescue Bot that he loves to play with, now he has his own!
Since we'll be having cake this weekend, we bought some ice cream sandwiches to celebrate today!

We do birthday parties when our kids turn an odd number (every other year). This year is Conner's year to have a birthday party. Since he has a summer birthday, I decided to throw his party before school gets out so that his friends aren't all on vacation. We had a water party in our backyard. It was a lot of fun!
We had water on the swing set and slide, with a slip and slide at the bottom of the slide. We just let the kids play for a while. Then we played a couple of games. One was 2 teams trying to fill their bucket up with water the fastest. Another was a water balloon fight. If you haven't heard of Bunch o' Balloons, check them out! They cost about $7 for 100 water balloons (which is kind of expensive) but the ease of filling them up makes them worth the money! Just google "bunch o balloons waterballoons" and you'll see why!
Conner wanted Paw Patrol Cupcakes, so I had fun making these!
We sang "Happy Birthday" to Conner and then had cupcakes and ice cream!

Today we had the extended family over to celebrate Caleb's birthday!
Caleb is in such a cute phase. Even when he pouts and throws a fit it is still cute! When his bottom lip pokes out and he's all sad about something, you can't help but copying him and pulling him in for a big hug! When he doesn't want to do what you ask him to do, he'll stomp his feet and complain while he is doing it. We're so glad we have a day that we get to celebrate Caleb, how much we love him and how grateful we are that he is a part of our family!

At Conner's preschool, there is a talent show. All the classes get to watch, but only the 4 year old classes get to perform. Conner learned how to ride a two-wheeler this year (no training wheels), so he rode his bike as his talent. He had to do it in the back of the gym because there wasn't enough space up front. Sorry about it being out of focus, I'm a bad camera woman! Lol!

Today is also Conner's last day of school this year. We have loved having Mrs. Beck as his teacher!

I wanted to get new pedels on Conner's bike before the talent show. But I procrastinated because I thought they would be easy to find. But after trying the local bicycle store, walmart, and calling the sporting good store, I discovered that nobody keeps this size of pedals in stock. So I bought them on Amazon, knowing they wouldn't arrive before the talent show. Conner took off the old ones and put the new ones on by himself!

The Dietz side of the family hasn't had new family pictures taken in 3 years. Which isn't super long, but the kids change so much in 3 years. Not to mention Ammon and I have added 2 new kids to our family since then! They turned out really well!

I wanted to throw Elise a baby shower, so we planned it for while our Mom is in town! My Mom helped me with the decorations and I loved how it turned out! We got there a little early to pull tables together and set up the decorations. We had it at Jason's Deli. It was so much fun!

Today we went to the Children's Museum here in New Braunfels. It makes it a lot easier with 3 adults; we each paired up with a boy and it made keeping track of kids a breeze! Emma just chilled in her stroller.
