Me: Well, Jesus is a man, so he could have a beard.
Caleb: Well, I prayed to have a beard...
Me: Oh! Well, you have to be a certain age before you can grow a beard. I don't even know if Talmage is old enough to grow a full beard.
I guess he was sad that he couldn't grow a beard, even after praying for one! lol

The Comal County Fair is this weekend, which means it's Cow boy/girl day at school! It was too hot for pants, so our little cowboy wore shorts! lol. And of course, since Caleb was being a cowboy, Emma wanted to be a cowgirl!

Caleb hasn't worn his new-to-him jacket yet and today was a little chilly. So he went and put it on. He came over to me and said, "Look Mom! It even keeps my eyes warm!"
Tonight was Back to School night at the elementary school. Conner and Isaac got to show us around their new classrooms. This is an opportunity for parents to see the school, meet the teachers and staff and see what the kids have been doing in their first few weeks of school.

All the 1st graders made a self portrait, and at Back to School night, the parents got to play "guess who" and try to find their child's drawing of themselves.
Our school does a 100 book club. Conner was the first one to complete 100 books this school year!
