April 2020

 April 2, 2020
When Emma goes in the backyard, she almost always goes straight for the Frozen jeep. She loves to sit in it and push the radio button (which plays a song from Frozen).

This weekend we watched General Conference on the TV. My family growing up always had Waffles conference weekend, and we try to as well!

It has been rainy a lot lately, and the kids are going stir crazy inside the house. So I moved our trampoline into the garage so they can work off some of their energy!

Conner has been asking me for a few days if we can get some Blue Bonnet pictures. They're a right-of-passage in Texas. So I dressed the kids ups, and found a place to snap a few pictures. This is proof as to why we like to pay a professional photographer to get our family pictures. I guess their cameras are more fun to look at, LOL!

We dyed Easter Eggs today. This is the only picture I got. The aftermath. I feel like a chicken with it's head cut off while we are doing the dying, so naturally I don't even think to take pictures!

Emma is a climber. Worse than any of the boys were. Probably worse than all three boys combined! This is a very MILD example. She wanted the candy that one of the boys left on the blanket box, so she went and got her toy so she would be tall enough to reach it.

When Ammon was a kid, his mom would make home made chocolate covered marshmallow eggs each Easter. A few years back, he asked if I would make some, and since then, it's been a tradition that our family carries on. I typically make a bunch of small ones, and then each person in the family gets a large one with their name/initial on it.

I think its safe to say he likes it!

Emma likes it too!

Easter morning!

I love these little videos because their little voices are so sweet!

We have had each of our kids paint a canvas when they turn one. Today Emma got to paint hers!

Isaac did something dumb so I told him to "use the brain I made for you." And he responded, "My brain is sleeping." It hought that was pretty funny and accurate!

As I was helping Caleb put his shorts back on after going potty I said, "Did you know you're my big boy?" He responded, "Conner big boy. You big boy. I-get (Isaac) big boy. I big boy!" He was proud! Love my big boy!

Just some cute pictures

Backyard fun

Look at the tree really close...do you see what I see? Conner is learning to climb the tree!

Yes, Caleb is potty training! Wahoo!

This adorable girl is 1 years old today! We typically throw a 1st birthday party (for Ammon and I to celebrate!) but because of Covid, we just did a cake and let family watch via zoom. Lame. But the best we could do.

April 25, 2020
We were suppose to go camping with some friends this weekend, but thanks Covid - the campgroud shut down. So we are backyard camping instead. Backyard camping means we roast marshmallows outside, and the boys sleep in a tent. Us girls stick to our beds inside the house.

Finally! The boys are old enough to put up the tent while Daddy plays!

Caleb stole Daddy's bed!

It doesn't matter what time of day it is, once the sleeping bags are in the tent, the kids want to go to bed! They are NEVER this eager to go to bed at home...

This is how Emma throws fits...sits down and bends over! LOL!

 Marshmallows! The best part!

Conner teasing Daddy: Thanks for eating all my crackers.
Daddy: You're welcome.
Isaac: That thank you was a not-thank-you.
Daddy and I laugh.
Isaac: He was saying he didn't like that you ate all his crackers.
Me: When did you get so smart?

Conner: Dad, you have a dirty snout.
Isaac laughs
Dad: Isaac you don't even know what that means.
Isaac: It means your nose is dirty.

I guess Isaac is starting to learn sarcasm and humor!

Ammon has been building custom can rollers for our pantry, and he finished! They are amazing!

April Fun Pictures
These pictures were taking throughout the month.

Throwing a tantrum. Why are tantrums so cute at this age?

Lately when Conner gives me something, he kneels down and bows his head, like he is Knight.

Yes, I would say Emma does like chocolate...

Water fun!
