I have some left over caramel sauce from making a Dutch Caramel Apple Pie. Today I realized it would be delicous to dip apples in it, so I asked the kids if anyone wants some. Isaac was the only one who thought it sounded good. So I poured some caramel into a little cup and am cutting pu the apple. Isaac starts drinking the caramel. I say, "Hey, you're supposed to dip the apples in the caramel." Isaac explains, "I like caramel and apples, but not together." Lol! I guess it all ends up in the same place.

I tell him, "actually, those are both the same kind of dam..." Conner says, "No they're not. One is made out of rocks, the other is made out of sticks." I continue, "They're the same because both of them block water in a river." Conner asks, "Where did you learn that? Did you go to science or something?" Ah...how kids think we never went to school or something...lol.
