This picture is like a right of passage for our kids. We have them for each of the boys! When Daddy (and brothers) go out to mow the lawn and the littlest is sad he doesn't get to be outside with them...

Caleb hates being left behind, and that most definitely includes when his big brothers go play in the back yard! We brought him outside in his walker today and he was IN HEAVEN!!!

I do not have a green thumb. I always forget to water my plants. But every year when the mosquitoes come out, I want to plant mosquito-repelent plants. And I end up reminding myself of my inability to keep plants alive. Today Conner and I planted marigolds! Isaac was going to help, but ended up pouting until the very end. We had fun!

We had a movie sleepover party with our (Powell and Cranmer) cousins! We watched The Little Rascals and played games and ate treats that went along with the movie!
In the morning, the kids had fun playing outside!

This year for Carter and Tanner's birthday, we celebrated by going on a hike up Panther Canyon. It's more of a nature trail than a hike, but it's as close to a hike as you can get here in New Braunfels! We packed a picnic dinner and ate along the trail.

Each year since moving to Texas, we have done a Cousins Easter Egg Hunt. This year, because of schedules, we had to do two. Today was our Eggett cousins Easter Egg Hunt.

There is a gymnastics gym near us that has "open play" for kids under the age of 5 each week. My kids love going! The gym sets up a new obstacle course each week, plus they have trampolines, a "ball" pit, things to climb, rope swing, and toddler toys (like ride ons and push toys).

This weekend we went camping at Lockheart State Park with the Cranmer family. We didn't get very many pictures because we were too busy having fun! Our family loves camping! Here are the kids having a water fight:

Today we had our Dietz Cousins Easter Egg Hunt.
We do a pinata each year at Easter. Every year I grumble a little at the cost of the pinata AND all the candy, but it's all worth it when my boys (and their cousins) have such a fun time!
My boys sure love pinatas! But who doesn't?
Isaac decided he wanted to help pull the pinata up and down with Daddy!
Sadie is so strong that she broke the stick!
Conner's Preschool
This month Conner took an art class called "It's A Mess". It was mostly painting, which was a lot of fun!
This one they painted and then added glitter!
This one involved finger print painting
This one they added paint to shaving cream, and then painted with the shaving cream
This one they put strips of tape on the paper, then painted. Once it was dry they took the tape off.
This one actually isn't paint. They put glue on the paper and then put colored sand on top.
This one they dipped a balloon in the paint, then smooshed the balloon onto the paper.
