Grandpa and Grandma Eggett!!!!

We were so lucky to have Grandma and Grandpa Eggett come visit us for a whole week! We did a lot of playing at the house, but had fun on some adventures too! Grandma was a HUGE help when it came to the house! She did all the cooking throughout the week, plus made meals for the freezer, did the dishes and so much more!

Grandpa recently had a hip replacement, and is walking with a cane. Conner thought it was the best toy ever and that Grandpa brought it just for him! Grandpa would adjust the height of it to the shortest setting for Conner. Conner would hold it upside down and hit little balls with it - Grandpa's future golf buddy in the making!

I have to post this picture too! Conner has SO MANY different faces! This one actually isn't as vicious as it looks. He's scrunching up his nose, which he thinks is pretty funny! It's a funny face to him :)

Conner and Grandpa hanging out in the back yard.

We went to the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch and had such a fun time! It's a drive-thru zoo, and Conner loved the animals! After the drive-thru part, there was a petting zoo that had goats in it.

"This is the best!!!!!"

There were a few buffalo, but this one was the most fun. He would stick his white tongue out so you could drop food onto his tongue!

Conner liked the buffalo because they got close enough to pet! Their noses were slobbery and gross to me, but Conner liked petting them.

Conner enjoyed being able to run between Grandma and me and sit on our laps.

The ostrich had a pointy beak and we didn't really want to let him eat out of our hand. So like the car in front of us, we held the bag of food out the window for him to eat out of. However, UNlike the car in front of us, we didn't roll down the sides of the bag first. He grabbed the whole bag out of our hands and dumped it on the road and ate it all! It was surprising but funny! Good thing there wasn't much left in that bag!

The signs said not to feed the zebras because they bite. Grandpa made some comment about them biting to this zebra and as if the zebra understood, he showed us his teeth. Yup, don't want to be bit by him!

This is the life! After the drive through zoo we got Conner a snack because it was lunch time and silly me didn't think to pack him a lunch. Who doesn't love sitting in a stroller, not having to walk, and being fed!?! Okay, truth be told, Conner probably would have rather been walking, but we didn't want to have to chase him! Lol, he's a fast little guy with A LOT of energy!

We still had some animal food (pellets)  left from the drive-thru part, so we fed the goats too!

Conner L.O.V.E.D. running around with the goats! It is very common for us to have pictures of Conner as a blur. Like I said before, he's a fast little boy with a lot of energy!

This mama goat and her little tiny baby were sectioned off, but there were a ton of other goats to pet and feed!

We had such a fun time at the zoo! We'd definitely recommend it!

A few other fun things we did were:
Go to the neighborhood pool a few times
The Riverwalk in San Antonio - with dinner at Texas Land and Cattle (one of Grandpa's favorite restaurants!)
Visits to the different parks in New Braunfels
Naegelin's Bakery (Texas' oldest bakery) - it was very yummy!

Of course there were other things we wanted to do but didn't get to. But lucky for us, Grandpa and Grandma will be back again and we will do more fun things then! We are all so happy that they could come visit us! We had such a fun time with them!
