Christmas Celebrations

We were so lucky to have so much family around us this November and December! A large part of that was Isaac being born, but also the Christmas season! Here's some of our Christmas celebrations!

We've found the best way to get Conner to sit still in a picture is to ask him to give Isaac a kiss. It means we don't get Conner's face as well, but hey, he's in the picture!

New Nephew

We went for a visit up north to visit our newest nephew who was born 3 weeks after Isaac. We had a fun time visiting the Strassers! Grandma Dietz was there, too!

This picture makes me smile! This picture totally captures Conner being himself! Every time he sees something on a slope, he has to run down it. It's so much fun! Wouldn't you want to too?

Conner got this backpack for his birthday. He loves to wear it around. So this morning when he wanted to wear it, I helped him put it on. When it was time to leave for church, I tried taking it off but Conner was NOT going to let me! Sure, it wasn't a big deal to me! So this little boy went to church as a missionary today ;) Sorry the pictures are so bad.

This afternoon Conner was upset and it was so funny to watch him think things through. He looked around, decided on the stairs, laid down and threw a fit! I guess the tile was either too cold or hard to lay down on! It was pretty funny!

Family Pictures

I've been so excited to get family pictures with Isaac in them! I've been planning this since before he was born! They turned out great! We got our Christmas Card photos and wall photos all in one shoot! Isaac was so much smaller than Conner was, that I had very few clothes that fit him well. Conner NEVER wore any premie clothes! lol, but that's what fit Isaac best for the first month!

Story Time

Our library has an awesome story time program! They have 3 different age based story time groups (babies 0-18 months, toddlers 18-36 months, preschool 3-5 years). We have been going to story time every week, at least once since we moved here almost a year ago. We love story time! The librarian who does story time, Ms Jenny, is phenomenal! I quickly discovered getting out of the house with 2 kids is harder. Duh, I knew it would be. I guess I had forgotten in the past 1 1/2 years since Conner was a baby how it worked. Everyone ready to leave? Baby has a blow out. Everyone ready to go, again? Baby's hungry. Now throw in the mix a toddler...lol! Yeah. Enough said! This is why we were so excited to be back at story time today!

This is one of our favorite "silly faces" of Conner's. It cracks us up every time, and that's just the response he wants! He loves to make people laugh!

Church Christmas Party

We had a fun time at our church's Christmas party! It was Isaac's first debut at church! The party was Polar Express themed and those who organized it did a really good job! This was Conner's first time seeing Santa this year, and I think the picture describes his feelings better than I can.

I'm not sure that he's going to have the chance to see Santa again this year, so he probably won't warm up to him this year!
