Every time Isaac sees a bike, he wants to climb on it. He absolutely loves bikes!

This is the boy's bedroom. And this is them waking up. Isaac pops out of bed and Conner takes a while longer (normally NOT with a smile!) Isaac sleeps on the car bed, Conner on the top bunk. And soon Caleb will sleep in the crib!

Conner and Isaac made me these cute flower pots for Mother's Day. I love little home made crafts from them like this; they're so cute!
The paper says:
If mothers got a flower
for each nice thing they do,
You'd have a great big garden
all growing just for you!

Today is my scheduled c-section! We're so excited to meet this little boy! As we were going out the door to go to the hospital (really early in the morning) the hospital called us and said we were an hour late. Oops. I'm not sure where the miscommunication happened. Spoiler alert: the baby was still born this morning. He was later than planned, but that was NOT because we were told the wrong time! After checking in and all that hoopla, they tried to get my IV started. I've always thought it was funny when they tell you "no eating or drinking" and then are surprised when my veins are small (lack of water). Anyways, after 5 sticks they had to call in the anesthesiologist to numb my hand and get the IV started...THIS is what made my c-section behind schedule. Lol. After that, everything went smoothly!
Welcome to our family, Caleb! We love you so much already!
Grandma Eggett came into town for 2 weeks to help with Caleb's birth. She stayed with Conner and Isaac while I was in the hospital and after I got home. Because I had to have a c-section, it makes it so much easier to have somebody else around to help with my 2 toddlers! Thank you, Mom! We really appreciate all of your help!
Conner calls him "Baby Cay-Love" which we think is adorable
This is one of my favorite pictures. There's just so much love in the picture!
Conner and Isaac both had jaundice, so it was a safe bet that Caleb would have it too. Conner's was caught while we were in the hospital and taken care of before it was time for us to go home. Isaac's wasn't caught for a few days after going home. He was "borderline" so we had to go to the lab and get his blood tested every day until they finally decided to readmit him to the hospital to put him under the bili lights. It was a huge ordeal for me(probably because of all my hormones). With Caleb I told the doctors about this and asked that they don't send us home without bili treatment if he was borderline. Thankfully they listened and since Caleb WAS borderline, they put him under bili lights. All better.
Getting ready to go home!
It always takes so long to get discharged...
Yup, we're still here...

Since Grandma has been in town, she decided to give Conner his birthday present a couple of weeks early so that she could watch him open it. We had a fun mini-celebration. I wish so badly that I had video recorded him opening the hot wheels cars, because that face was priceless. He was so overjoyed and excited and just couldn't contain all the emotion!
The next 3 pictures are best if you can flip through them quickly to see his face changing, but this will have to do.
He's in love with the "cars like JD's" already!
When Isaac was born, we took a picture of Conner and Isaac sitting in these chairs. We thought it'd be fun to get another one with Caleb :)

During breakfast Conner started singing the Itsy Bitsy Spider and knew all the words, I was impressed because we don't sing it that often. I tried to get him to sing it again for the camera, but of course it wasn't as good as the first time!
Ammon decided to have a backyard campout with Conner and Isaac tonight. They were so excited and had so much fun! They both seem to love camping a lot! Momma, Grandma and Baby Caleb slept inside the house.

Ammon made a tether ball pole for our backyard. Since we have older cousins, we want to find things that appeal to them in our backyard as well.

Here is Caleb's baby picture and baby announcement!
Today Ammon left to go to Illinois to help his parents pack up one of their moving trucks. He took Isaac with him to help me out since I just had a baby and abdominal surgery (c-section). The Powell's also went, but they left Sadie with me to help out with Conner. Ammon and Isaac will be gone for 5 days.

Happy Memorial Day! We went to Elise's house and spent the day with her!

We went to the children's museum today. Since I didn't have two toddlers to manage, I let Conner paint. (I made the mistake of letting Conner and Isaac both paint one day. I was completely frazzled by the time we got out of the art room!) Today's painting went much better!
Welcome to the world Caleb! We love you!!
