California

I was able to go to California Friday night to Sunday night for Elise's baby shower. It was so much fun! Elise's best friend, Jen McVeigh, threw the baby shower. It was at one of Elise's old co-workers house, Melanie's house. Elise's sister in law made an adorable cake!

Allison's Birthday

I had a wonderful birthday weekend! It all started on Friday morning when the secretary at my school brought in a beautiful bouquet of flowers for me from Ammon. So naturally my students and I thought Ammon was at the school. My students convinced me to text him to see. He wasn't there, so we were baffled about how he got the flowers there with a card from our house.

My students were great that day. It helped that they had earned (through good behavior) a class party that day. I spent a lot of time creating a very fun class party based on the TV show "Minute to Win It." The game went great, and we had a fantastic time!

When I went out to my car after school, I found that Ammon had put sticky notes on my window. That's when I KNEW he had to of been at my school! Come to find out, he had brought the flower and decorated my car. But then because of our school's schedule, had waited about an hour to deliver them to my classroom (she waited until all of my students were there instead of just half of them).

Friday night we met up with some friends and went out to dinner to Siagon, our favorite Chinese place. Afterward, everyone came to our house for cake and ice cream.

Saturday was a surprise, Ammon hadn't told me much about what we were doing. That afternoon, Ammon told me he had planned on us going for a bike ride, however, it had snowed the night before, so we couldn't go. On top of that, I was starting to get sick and didn't want to push it. So instead we played a game that Ammon bought me for my birthday (it's called Carcassonne). After he took me out to a late lunch at Olive Garden. Then that night he took me to a play. It was at a play house in Lindon, and it was pretty good.

Sunday night we went to my parent's house for a birthday dinner. We played Carcassonne with my parents as well. We had a great time there!

I had a great weekend, and I definitely have a FANTASTIC husband! Thanks Ammon for a wonderful birthday!!!

Christmas in California

After getting off of the Cruise ship, we drove about an hour to where all of my family was staying for Christmas. We had a wonderful Christmas day and enjoyed spending it with family. We also enjoyed talking to our Dietz family on the phone.

The day after Christmas, we all took a walk to Trussels beach. Ammon took some fun pictures of the family.

These pictures came from the whole time we spent with the family.

Ammon and I went to Laguna beach together on Monday, December 27. Ammon took some beautiful pictures there! We understand why Laguna Beach is everyone's favorite!

On Tuesday morning, my parents and Kimberly left to drive back home. Ryan, Elise, Ammon and I spent the day hanging out together. It was a lot of fun! First we went to the SanCapistrano Mission, out to lunch and to an Antiques shop.

That night we went to the San Clemente Pier for more sunset pictures.

Christmas Cruise/Honeymoon

Ammon and I were very blessed this Christmas season. It all started on our belated Honeymoon cruise. We went on a Mexican Rivera cruise out of Los Angeles, California. It was a week long cruise that had us leaving the afternoon of Saturday, December 18th and arriving back in LA on Saturday, December 25th. It worked out perfectly for us, because Elise is pregnant with twins and couldn't travel for Christmas, so my whole family traveled to California for Christmas. When we got off the cruise Christmas morning, we drove an hour to where all of my family was. We have many pictures from our vacations this Christmas season. We hope you enjoy them all!

Our first port of call was on Monday, December 20th in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Our second port of call, on Tuesday, December 21st, was in Mazatlan, Mexico.

Our third, and last, port of call was in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

While in Puerto Vallarta, I had the AMAZING opportunity to go parasailing!

The last night of our cruise happened to also be our three month anniversary, so we decided to get dressed up for dinner and take some nicer pictures that night.

The Lights at Temple Square

To celebrate this Christmas season we went to Temple Square with our good friends the Clouses (not the Clauses). We started out the evening with a pot luck dinner at our house, then drove up to Salt Lake City. It was a chilly evening, but we stayed warm walking!
