This month, the kids are a part of a running club. Each week they get to run a race with other kids in their age group. They are timed and and at the end they can win overall 1st, 2nd or 3rd place.
Emma won 3rd place in her division!
It was okay, but I don't think we will do it again. I was hoping for more teaching them how to be better runners, but it was just a weekly race.

In school, Conner has been working on a writing project about "when I grow up..." He wrote about it and painted a picture. Then his teacher made a class book. Today he gets to dress up and tell his class about what he wants to be when he grows up.

Grandma Eggett came to visit! Which always means she spoils us by taking us to all the fun places!
While Conner and Isaac were at school, we took Caleb and Emma to a open play time at a gymnastics gym! It is always so much fun!
And to Chuck E Cheese for dinner!
Grandma got to go with us to Running Club!
We always have so much fun while Grandma is here that sometimes we forget to take very many pictures!

Spring Break! We decided to get SA Zoo passes for the year!
This morning Ammon woke Emma up...
Daddy: Wake up! We are going to the Zoo!
Emma: Oooooooohhhhhhh! I love the zoo! Zebra's are my favorite! I have a zebra jacket!
Daddy: You better not wear your zebra jacket or they'll think you are a zebra!
Emma: A baby zebra!!!!!

A year ago, we had a week of snow. It killed 3 of our 4 palm trees. This tree was our tallest and before the snow, we knew we were going to have to cut it down in the next couple of years (or start paying for it to be professionally trimmed, which is big $$$). A few times a year, our city opens up the dump for 1 free load per household. We decided to cut down this palm tree and get rid of it during the free weekend. It was so much work. It took Ammon ALL day.
Most people rake leaves in the fall. Not here. It's a March event for us! Not because we've neglected raking them, but because this is the season that the leaves fall off the trees.

I am a part of a Moms group. It's basically a MOPS group, but without the MOPS name. Every year we have an Easter Egg Hunt. This year the Easter Bunny came to visit...mixed feelings from the kids lol!

In preschool, Caleb has been learning the story of the 3 Little Bears. He made a craft and has been practicing telling the story.
Conner had his 1st Grade Music Program tonight. It was the ABC's of Texas themed! This song is called "The Lonestar State is Great!"
