We have the jumbo beads that the kids string into necklaces during church. Conner made this pattern all by himself!
We went over to Elise's house this afternoon and Isaac didn't get a nap. He crashed on my lap he was so tired (I don't remember why he's not wearing a shirt lol).

Conner's favorite bedtime song is a chruch song called Families Can Be Together Forever. He knows all the words and normally sings along with us. Is it just my kid who doesn't like to perform for the camera? I swear he's really good at something, so we turn the camera on and poof, he can't do it anymore! Enjoy anyways.
Talmage came over to play today and he found a frog in our backyard. The kids really liked it!

Conner and I have are doing home school preschool this year (preschool is really expensive here). We're having fun!
We had Elise's kids over for a sleepover this weekend. Ammon put them to work.
After they all took a bath, they jumped in our bed to watch a show!

Huricane Harvey is in the forcast today. The town has been a little crazy the past day or two. I've been so grateful that I keep food on my shelves because so many people are rushing to the stores that they are literally running out of food - especially drinking water. We hunkered down and had fun playing in the rain and sending video texts back and forth with Maia and JD. Here in New Braunfels, we got a lot of rain and strong winds (lots of fences blew down), but nothing more than that.
We found our flashlights in case the power went out.

We went to the front yard to check out the rain and wind. Isaac felt as if he almost blew away (the wind caught him) so he was nervous to go out in the wind again for a bit.
After that we decided to stick to the back yard where the kids could run and play. Isaac's umbrella (really mine) flipped inside out the wind was so strong!
Conner started singing "Rain, rain come to play," I thought it was pretty cute!
Conner was worried about his friend, Aria, and wanted to know if she had an umbrella. So we sent her this video to check on her.
