Saturday morning we dropped Isaac off at his cousin's house and the rest of us went tubing on the Comal River. We had such a fun time! I still love the chutes! That afternoon while Conner, Isaac and Ammon took their naps, my parents and I went clothes shopping and had a really fun time!
Sunday we went to church and afterwards had a birthday celebration for Conner. Since his birthday is in 2 weeks, we thought it would be fun to let him open Grandpa and Grandma's present! We also had cupcakes. Conner is really into Mickey Mouse right now, so we made him Mickey cupcakes. Super simple, but cute!
Isaac loved the paper too!
They gave him this really cool book that has a track in it. It comes with a train that you wind up, and then it drives on the tracks all over the pages of the book! You can tell by Conner's face how much he loves it!
Here are the Mickey cupcakes Grandma and I made.
Conner loved blowing out the candles! We had to relight them a few times so he could blow them out again.
Could this be genetic? It seems oddly familiar...
Conner drug the step ladder over to "watch" Grandpa put the dough on the tray. While Grandpa wasn't looking he snuck a whole ball of dough! Lol! Yup. His love for cookie dough must be genetic!
Tuesday in the late morning they left to go back home. We miss them already!
We had such a fun time having Grandpa and Grandma here! Come again soon!
